The three vehicles trekked in a backwards direction from Popono, almost along the same roads Sabienn took for them to get there. A dirt track then took them off the road and they travelled eastward to the warm rising sun with the green and the blue moons high in the sky, reflecting the main celestial light show happening below.
After a long time travelling on bumpy dirt roads, the three vehicles came to a clearing that pushed up against a lake. Sabienn in the rear vehicle saw a building up ahead which looked like a large old house well past its welcoming days. Timber railings were missing to its massive verandah and its windows were open and broken.
