Chapter 34 - At sea

  The shy waves crashed against the metal shell of the ship, splashing and hitting the bottom of Anastasia’s boots which hanged over the edge of the rusty bawl that they called a ship. It wasn’t a big ship. People were crammed in the deck and a few even had to sleep out on top, together with the chilly autumn air that seemed to envail the whole lake. Anastasia didn’t feel the cold now though, she didn’t know what she felt. She didn’t even bother to sleep this time. She had a feeling it would be pointless so she went out and found a quiet, lonely place on the ship to stand and wait. For what she couldn’t say but she didn’t think what else to do now. And the misty lake was a good enough companion. And misty it was, Anastasia could barely see in front of her nose. Looking down left her wonder
