Chapter 27 - The man
The man lead them through a large building that was heavily fortified, not even boards sheets of metal were covering the windows, barely any light managed to come in through them. Barricades were littered around every hall, they had to jump over them. Guards were hanging around every corner, each one with the same blue armor and heavily armed, both with weapons and their serious expressions. These aren’t bandits. Anastasia was right, they weren’t laying around drunk or getting drunk, one misstep could resolve in Anastasia getting killed. The building used to be an old office building and they had turned it into a fort. They went through four floors, each one with the same level of fortification. It was like a giant castle of old times, she felt as if there would be a throne on the highes
