we reached home after one hour
drive , as we stepped in to the house Katherine
stops and stand infront of my dad
" Can you atleast tell me now , why didn't you
tell me anything about this marriage before "
she asks raising her eyebrow .
" everything is happened so fast that i don't
have time to tell you about this " .
" ohh really is that so , then why did you tell
Emma , i am sure it is the important issue that
day you wanted to talk with your daughter " she
asks glaring at me.
" Because it's about her life that's why i told
Emma , and i told her not to tell anyone until i
announce myself , but why are you making it
as a issue , are you by chance not happy with
this marriage " my father asks her little annoyed
" No no no iam very happy about this , it is just
that you didn't inform me earlier so that i felt
like left out " she answers with faking smile .
" it's not like that Katherine , it is not confirmed
until dinner , Smith and i thought we will just
let Emma and James meet in this matter , but
these two liked each other on their first meet so
we announced unplanned nothing more " i
blushed remembering james .
" it's ok Victor ,iam so happy for Emma , they
seem like a good family congratulations emma"
she hugged me infront of my father , but started
squeezing me tightly in her hug , i started to feel
suffocated so i pulled my self from her hug , she
gave me a warning look like this is not over . i
shivered thinking what they will do after this.
sophie also congratulated me gritting her teeth
after that i said good nights to everyone and
went to my room , i know they will come to my
room so i just locked my room for my security.
it's been a long day for me , iam so tired , i
quickly change in to night dress , lay on my bed
staring at ceiling i don't know when i slept but
i woken by the sound of lock opening . I quickly
sat down , i know who that will be ,when i see
the time it's 2 am, god please save me door
opened slowly revealing furiously Katherine
and sophie.i know iam doomed right now .
" Mam do you need anything , why are you two
here in my room at this hour " i ask them
gulping .
" Didn't we ask you what's the matter when your
father talked to you , you lied saying you don't
Know anything , do you think you can get away
simply like that "Katherine said gritting her
teeth .
" Mam that ..... i...... dad " i didn't even finish
she slapped me accross my cheek , tears
pooling down my cheeks .

"shut up , just shut up , lately you are being very
disrespect towards us , you should know your
place . Just Because you are going to marry
into Gucci family you dare to act like queen
infront of us , let me remind you ,you are nothing
compared to us , let's get your punishment
quickly " she extends her hand towards sophie
sophie placed leather belt in Katherine's hand
smirking,my jaw dropped instantly .
" You dare to take what's mine emma , how do
you even think about marrying in a rich family
you should have rejected the marriage proposal
at dinner , remember this Emma james is mine ,
only mine , iam the one who is going to to marry
him not you , just wait and watch " sophie said
fuming .
" what are you talking about , james is not yo ...
aaaahhhh " i didn't even complete Katherine
wips me with the belt , my skin is burning like a
hell , she kept wipping me on my back i curl up
on floor screaming on top of my , i wonder what
my father is doing , he should come to my room
if he heard my screams , i kept looking at my
door while she hits me , Katherine stops after a
while panting , sophie kicked me on my
stomach when Katherine stopped .
" why are you looking at door b***h , ohhh do
you think your father is going to come and save
you , forget that because he is fully drunk and
sleeping , he is soo happy for your marriage , so
decided to get drunk and gave us opportunity to
teach you a good lesson."she laughed cruelly.
" Listen emma if you think you are going to
marry into that family , then you are totally
wrong , i will not let that happen , wait and see
how iam going to change your fate " she hits
few more times and both left satisfied .
i lay there for few minutes crying , then slowly
got up and lay on my bed , my eye lids felt too
heavy to open my eyes when iam about draft in
to a sleep my phone lit up with beep. i open
my eyes saw a message from new number , i
hesitantly open the message ,i shows
" hello love can't sleep , thinking about you ,hope
you are also thinking about me . sweet dreams "
it must be james , only he knows what iam
going through now . iam too tired to reply him
so i ignored the message decide to reply him on
the morning and closed my eyes , sleep come
over to me as soon as I closed my eyes.
