Emma's pov:
After returning from Lilly' s house i straightly
walk to my room , i ate at her house so iam not
hungry and i don't have to go down stairs ,
better atleast i won't be seeing mother and
daughter for tonight. i have to talk to dad about
my decision tonight , he must be thinking about
the same after all it's about his company and
his daughter.
it's already 10 pm every one should be in their
rooms , dad must be in his study . I think it is the
perfect time to talk . i slowly come out of my
room to go to the dad's study , as iam walking
towards the study i saw lights are on inth study
and the door also open , thank God he is in his
study . i stop infront of his study there he is
reading some files sitting in his chair , may be
realised his mistakes and started considering
about his responsibilities . hopefully my
decision will be helpful to him .
" Dad may i come in " clearing my throat i called
him .
" hey em come on you don't have to ask , you
can come in with out asking " . he said
cheerfully.
" ummm dad are busy , i mean can I talk to you
only if you are free , it's about what we talked in
the morning" . he seem to be thinking when i.
said that
" ohh ok you can talk , ask any thing about the
arrangement , i can understand you can't
possibilly marry some unknown guy for the
sake of family with out knowing anything " he
must be thinking iam going to reject the
marriage.
" yeah dad , are you sure this is going to be work
i mean are they going to stand on their words
about investing in our company after my
marriage , and what about groom , i really
don't know about him so iam hesitating , can
you please tell about the family more " before
taking any decision i should know about his
family and him .
" yes Emma this is the only option for us, as per
your groom you are going to marry james , i
investigate about him , they say he is a good
man , you don't have to worry about him ,i
gather all information about him ,he is not
at all the bad person and the last thing this
agreement is not only on words but also in
papers , once we sign the deal it's sealed i
mean they should have to invest in our
company other wise they are going to face a lot
if they flips their decision. "
looks like my marriage is not at all what i
though an arranged marriage but it is amore
like a contract marriage
" Ok dad if our company future is depend upon
me then i want to give it a try , i hope everything
will be in our favour " he looks so surprised
maybe he didn't expect me to take decision
early after all it is about my life.
" Thank you emma didn't expect you to take any
decision this early, iam so glad you understand
about our situation , i guarantee you after your
marriage you will a happy life , emma can i ask
you one question , don't you have any one
in your life "
" Are you talking about my love life , no dad you
don't have to worry about that ,i don't love any
one trust me iam not interested in love" . he
sighed with releif .
" Ok em since it is settled , tomorrow we are
going to meet Gucci family , they invited us for
dinner at their place , so make sure to wear
something beautiful , and go to spa tomorrow
morning ,i will inform Katherine tomorrow about
dinner at Gucci family . " wow that's fast they
already prepared .
" dad isn't this bit fast , i mean do we have to
go tomorrow can't we wait for atleast one week
or 10 days " .
" I can understand your situation emma , but
these matters can't be delayed , today morning
james father called me to know our decision i
told him that i just informed you about whole
thing , so he suggested to let you and James
talk so that you can take wise decision that's
why he invited us for dinner " . God these elders
are eager for my marriage.
" Ok dad i will get ready for tomorrow , good
night dad iam going to sleep it's already late you
should sleep early , don't think too much
everything will be alright . " with that i leave
study and headed towards my room tomorrow
will be a big day for me my life is going to
change after tomorrow.
i woke up to the sound of my alarm it's 6 Am , i
have to make breakfast for every one i don't
want to give Katherine any reason to beat me so
that i won't be having any bruises on my body
for atleast today , i have to look decent.
i quickly went down stairs , prepare breakfast ,
went to sophie and Katherine room cleaned
everything , then went to my room did my
morning routine , took shower wear some
decent dress , today is Sunday so that i don't
have to go to college , iam little nervous how
will Katherine and sophie going to react when
they got to know about my marriage .iam damm
sure Katherine is going to pissed off ,she surely
wants sophie to marry in their family .
i left my room , went down stairs dad already
having breakfast both mother and daughter is
nowhere to be seen , i just greeted dad and
started eating breakfast , while we were eating
Katherine , sophie joined us with gloomy faces
looks like they don't know about my marriage
agreement . dad cleared his throat to say
something .
" Katherine today Gucci family invited us to their
house for dinner so every one be ready for
dinner tonight , we are going to leave at 6 pm ,
don't be late they are very important to us "
Katherine seemed to thinking something ,
sophie turned towards me as soon as dad said
about dinner , i just shrugged.
" Gucci family why are they inviting us , they
never close to us , is there any anything thing
i should know victor " . Katherine questioned
my dad .
" They are our new investors , i will announce
about agreement at dinner so be patient every
thing is good and please behave well at their
place ." he said and left the dinning room.
" Emma do you know anything about this , tell
me about it , if got to know you already aware
about something , consequences will be very
different , so spil it out " . said Katherine , both
are glaring at me .
" I don't know anything i Just got to know this
with you guys " . i lied , they both stood and left
the dining room they don't even eat breakfast
fully , half of the food is still in their plates .
As i finished my breakfast was about to get up
my dad came and gave me some cash . i just
look at him confusingly .
" This money is for your dress and spa feel free
to spend all the money , i want you to look best
at dinner , ok ? " . i Just nod and took money.
This is going to be a long day for me , i have to
do so many things , it's better i will take Lily
along with me to shopping and spa .
