"What do you mean Robb isn't here anymore?" I ask him as we pull out. He inputs a location into the GPS and presses down on the accelerator and we zoom forward.
"We've had eyes on him since we got the footage. And we tracked his phone and his rental car. He left the next day. And nope. He didn't know we were watching him. It was just his schedule. We called our branch in LA to keep an eye on him though. It seems he didn't leave LA after getting there. He was sighted publicly in fact." He says.
I digest this information. It is not Robb, I realise, not particularly surprised. A part of me is relieved, not because of lingering sentiments, but yeah, I just did not want it to be someone I once knew so personally. Another more selfish part of me is annoyed it is not him. I
