Both Lion and Christian pulled nightshift for the first time in years to be here today. I think they are being dramatic about not seeing me for a few days, most likely they just wanted a closer glimpse at the 'adorable' celebrity camping in my house but I still appreciate the sacrifice they have made just to spend the few hours catching up. After we graduated the police academy together, Christian had made his dad pull all kinds of strings so that we would be able to work in the same district and it had paid off. We are all in homicide and while we all have our different partners when it comes to the job, but we watch each other's back nevertheless.
