Stefan     I look through the files. There has to be something I missed. I examine the pictures taken of the crime scene. It is neat, too neat. The woman hangs suspended in the air, her face is blue and her tongue is out, her eyes bulging from the pressure. The black cord around her neck stands out against her upturned head and pale shift and her eyes portray an unsettling terror even as she is dead. The case was officially concluded to be a suicide months ago but something about it seems off. The judgement does not sit well in my gut and I have had the urge to come back and comb through for anything I missed for days.
