Chapter Nine
Andrea awoke, alone in the bed. She sat up, yawning and stretching.
Emmy drying her hair with a towel. “Good morning.” She gave Andrea a small kiss.
“What happens today?”
“It's Saturday. We can do what we like.”
“I haven't run or exercised since... since I got here. Does this place have a track or a gym or anything like that?”
“All of that.”
“Great! But I can't run in these,” Andrea said, indicating her slippers.
“After breakfast, I'll take you to the shoe store.”
