Chapter Twenty Four Andrea woke up knowing how she was going to spend the two thousand dollars she’d won. Her decision haunted her all day. *** Andrea’s hand snaked into her pocket yet again as she hurried down the hall. She felt for the two envelopes, reassuring herself. The intention she’d awakened with hadn’t diminished during the day—if anything, it had grown. She hesitated at the door. Am I really doing this? She answered her question by ringing the bell.
