"Let's go, Frances."
"Dean... you came... I thought you hated me but you're here, he-heh..." She slurred, trying her best to pull herself up but her body was betraying her. She texted and called me nonstop, of course, I had to come.
She was too drunk. Beside her were two girls sitting comfortably, glaring at me.
"Don't be such a buzzkill, D. Come on join us." One of the girls tried to convince me.
"No thanks. Let's go." I kept a straight face as I helped her up while she struggled to keep her balance.
I didn't expect her to initiate a kiss last night. She made my life difficult for the past couple of weeks and was hellbent on making me quit the show.
"Dean? D... thanks for coming..." She continued talking to me while I tried to lift her and aid her out of the bar.
Her best friend Rhi immediately approached us and helped me get her in the car, "Sometimes I wish we were real." She whispered.
"Stop talking and hydrate yourself." Rhi glanced at me from the backseat while Frances knocked out the bottle of water that her best friend handed over.
"I love you... Dean."
"You're drunk and you don't know what you're saying," I said as I started the engine.
"I mean it."
"I have a girlfriend."
"I know."
