As the witch made the announcement the tension in the hall reached a breaking point as Alpha Killian and Alpha Damien stepped toward each other, their powerful auras clashing like two storms in the verge of destruction.
“She is mine,” Alpha Killian growled, his silvery eyes flashing with uncontained fury. “The bond was revealed first between us. I felt it. She felt it. And I will not let you take her from me”
Alpha Damien chuckled, but there was nothing amused about it. His golden gaze gleamed with cold challenge. “Do you hear yourself brother,” he said sarcastically “ always so sure you can claim what isn't solely yours. But fate doesn't lie, does it?” His gaze flicked toward me.
“She belong to both of us. And I won't stand by while you try to steal what is equally mine.” Alpha Damien claimed.
A low dangerous growl rumbled from Alpha Killian's chest. “You have always taken what was mine, Damien. Always”
My heart pounded as I watched the tension boils on her between the two Alpha kings. This wasn't just about me anymore. This was a battle that had been brewing for years.
Their past grievance bled into the present.
“You still haven't let go of the past, brother, have you?” Alpha Damien taunted. “Are you still bitter that I was the one who put fated trusted with the golden claw pack? That I build my Kingdom stronger than yours?”
Alpha Killian’s fist clenched, “stronger? You mean by stealingy warriors? By manipulating the alliance meant for both of us?” His voice was thick with resentment.
My breath hitched. They weren't just rival. They were born to be enemies.
I had heard the stories of two Alpha kings brothers once inseparable, now ruling separate kingdoms at constant odds. That was Alpha Killian and Alpha Damien.
Born to the same Alpha King, they were meant to lead together, to rule side by side. But their father, seeing their differences, had divided the territories between them.
Alpha Killian, the firstborn, was given the silver claw pack, the stronghold of warriors. Ruthless in battle, he had led his pack with iron will, crushing rebellion, taking over rogue lands and making himself the most feared Alpha in existence.
Alpha Damien, the second born, was given the golden claw pack, the land of strategies and alliances. He had built a pack of calculating warriors. Brokers of power, master of deception. While Alpha Killian ruled with brutal strength, Alpha Damien ruled with cold intelligence.
But instead bringing balance, they turned against each other.
They fought over land.
They fought over power.
They fought over the respect of their father.
And now, they were fighting over me.
“I won't let history repeat itself,” Alpha Killian growled, his voice low and dangerous. “You won't take her from me like you've always taken everything else.”
Alpha Damien's smirk didn't waver. “And you won't push me aside like you always tried to. We are equals in this, Killian. Whether you want it or not.”
The hall buzzed with fear and anticipation, the pack members unsure if they were about to witness a war between two kings.
My breath was. Shallow as I looked between them.
Two powerful Alphas.
Two deadly rivals.
Tie fated mates.
And only I've choices.
The question was.
Would I be the one to make it?
Or would they tear the world apart fighting for me.
A sudden howl pierced the tense air, followed by the unmistakable sound of thundering paws and the clinking of armored warriors.
The ground shook beneath us as a new wave of powerful werewolves stormed into the hall, their presence sending a ripple of shock through our pack.
Warriors in dark insignias, hearing unfamiliar scents, foreign, dangerous, and ready for battle.
At the front, a towering figure emerged, his presence demanding, suffocating and reeking of war.
Silas.
The Alpha of the Blood Moon pack.
His eyes, a piercing crimson, locked onto mine the moment he entered.
“So, the rumors are true.” His deep, gravelly voice carried through the hall like a death sentence.
“There is a girl fated to bring either peace or war into the world.” His lips curled into a smirk. “And she is already marked.”
The tension shifted instantly.
“I came for you, be mine.”
