Sloane’s POV "Hey! What the hell is going on up there?" It’s Mr. Henderson, another tenant. Human. Like everyone else living in this building, he has no idea what I am- what we are- and that’s the way it has to be. Most humans never realize how many of us are woven into their lives. We work beside them, live in their apartment buildings, shop in their stores, and stand in line behind them at the grocery store. We learn their habits, follow their rules, and make sure our own instincts stay buried beneath enough normalcy to pass unnoticed. Mr. Henderson is no different.
