"Right, so let me ask you something, boy," Dad spits out the word like it's a curse. "Who are you, where are you from, what are you doing here, and how did you get here?" Isn't that too much to ask in just one sentence, though? Also, what is up with his dark and accusing tone? It's as if he's picking a fight. Which is ridiculous. Who is his enemy? The boy? Give me a break, Dad is not petty...is he? I frown at the thought and stare up at his face. I was expecting to see him glowering but I see him smiling still. However, he can't fool me anymore. He may be smiling on the outside but I can hear the rudeness and irritation in his voice. I recognize the quality because I'm familiar with it already. All thanks to the times I'm scheduled to hang out with Dad only to be stuck in the office
