“Can you walk?” Lyle felt around…foot, in a sneaker most likely. Those are laces. So shin, leg… When he snagged a belt loop, Lyle pulled. “I got you,” he whispered. He tugged. The body was so light that at first Lyle thought it was a child. All but inaudible sobs were being choked through several layers of duct tape.
