Today is Harvest Fest. I woke up earlier than usual. That's typical for me on days like this. Sleeping the night before is a joke. My mind can't seem to shut down, so I've learned to keep a notepad beside the bed to write down the last minute tasks my brain conjures up in the night. The past three days have been so hectic, but today was the pay off. Hopefully all this stress was going to be worth it. We had a full silent auction, class displays from all grades, and mini sports tournaments for prizes on one side of an elaborate corn maze. On the other side we were hosting a full carnival, a petting zoo, a Battle of the Bands competition and all of the food trucks. It was shaping up to be one of our best events yet.
