Thomas and Everett’s POV

I can’t believe this. He’s on the cover! Again! Shouts Everett. “Who are we talking about, sir?” Thomas asks calmly.

What about her? I take care of her, don’t I?” claims Everett. I make sure she has food or whatever else she needs!

Thomas mumbles to himself, “We both know she’s just a toy until you get who you really want.”

Until then, you will continue to abuse her. I’m not sure why you’re even bothering to keep Jade,” sighs Thomas.

Sharron is who I want, and I will have her. Everett explains. I have always wanted Sharron.

Thomas, I know you love Jade. “She’s a gorgeous woman. She’s five foot nine, has a great a**, nice t**s, luscious curves, long sultry legs, with long wavy brown hair, with mesmerizing hazel green eyes.

She’s kind, respectful, down-to-earth, and friendly to everyone.

When I do get what I want, I will discard Jade like the trash she is. Does that spell everything out to you now, Thomas?”

So stop with the Jade thing and just go fetch her,” Everett said rudely. Understood, sir, Thomas replies.

I want Sharron, and I will do anything to have her,” grins Everett. You wanted me, Everett? Jade says softly.

How many times do I have to tell you, Jade, you will address me as Sir. Everett says angrily, smacking Jade in the face. I would have thought you would have learned by now.

I stand there angrily, never letting the anger show on my face. After so many years working for Everett, I’ve learned to fake what I really feel! He’s a Dam i***t; he will eventually regret doing this. By then, it will be too late, thinks Thomas.

I…I’m sorry, Sir. I…I didn’t mean to. Jade says, shaking. Just go, Jade, get out of my sight. I will deal with you later, Everett says, smirking.

Bowing her head, Jade walks out of the room, holding her face with tears running down her cheeks.

You would have thought by now Jade would have learned her place. I guess I’m going to have to teach that little tease a lesson again until she gets it right.” Everett says excitedly.

I can’t believe how stupid this young Master of mine is, Thomas sighs. He has a precious gem; of course, he only thinks of Sharron. Thomas mumbles to himself, frustrated.

Sharron is pretty, comes from a good family; her attitude lacks. She is all about prestige and what she can get out of the situation.” Thomas says to himself, reflecting on the past. That is exactly why Sharron is with Zander. For the prestige!

I thought young Master got over her when he decided to get with Ms. Jade; even his parents love her. He only abuses her. Every day is just getting worse.

I don’t know what the young Master is thinking. If I didn’t take care of him his whole life,

I personally would think something is wrong with him.” Actually, I know there’s something wrong with him.

I have to find a way to help Ms. Jade. The young Master watches everything she does. He’s going to kill her if I don’t help her.

She’s too good for him. She doesn’t deserve how he treats her.

I’m not sure what he sees in Sharron, but I can’t stand the woman. To me, Sharron is fake!

Jade would have been much better suited for him; he’s too blind to see it.

For now, I’ll keep an eye on Ms. Jade till I can help her escape this nightmare of a place.” Thomas thinks to himself.

Are you okay, Thomas? Asks Everett. Yes, young Master, I’m fine. I will go and check on Ms. Jade. Then I will start dinner for the both of you, replies Thomas. Thomas? Yes, Master Everett?

Thomas replies with his head bowed. Please make sure Jade gets cleaned up for dinner, she looked sloppy, I detest sloppy! Everett says calmly.

Yes, young Master, as you wish, replies Thomas. You’re excused.

Thank you, Sir. “ I honestly don’t know what to do. Even his friends and family tell him to leave Sharron alone now that she’s with Zander.

They don’t want problems with him or his company. Just the other day, his parents talked to him.

They know how ruthless Zander is, so they don’t want any part in upsetting him. I just wish the young Master would understand and do as his parents are telling him.

Sharron will only bring disaster to the St.James family. I can only hope he comes to his senses before it’s too late.” Thomas sighs to himself.

Knocking on the door, Ms. Jade? Jade opens the door, yes, Mr. Thomas?

I was told by the young Master for you to clean up and get ready for dinner.

It will be ready in an hour. Yes, Mr. Thomas, thank you. My pleasure, Ms. Jade. Thomas sighs, as he can clearly see the mark he’s left on the poor girl’s face.

Jade lowers her head and walks back into the room, closing the door behind her. You can tell Everett is taking a toll on her.

I really need to help her, things are only going to get worse for her.
