**Willow POV**
*alarm blaring*
Turning off my alarm, I slowly roll out of bed, not ready for the day... for today, I turn 18. That means I get my other half today. I smile thinking about what color my wolf will be, I hope maybe a black or white... maybe grey.
Jumping into the shower after taking off my pjs, I wash off my body and clean my hair before shutting off the water and jumping out. Blow drying it afterwards, making it a little frizzy before I brush it out. Getting dressed and putting on my makeup, I head downstairs. Ready for the school day. My first day of school, butterflies flying from my stomach to my heart and brain and back down.
Heading to the kitchen, I make me cereal. My mom following my lead.
"Good morning honey." She says, the tiredness still deep in her voice and face, I nod as I take another bite before saying it back. After my mom and me finish breakfast, we head out and go to the school... here we go.
As we arrive at the school, get a few glances here and there, my mom stops to let me out. We give hugs and getting out of the car,
"Have a good day sweetie, I'll pick you up later, happy birthday!" I hear her yell from behind me, I look behind and wave with a warm smile, I can't believe she remembered. Here the last few birthdays, I haven't even gotten a second glance.
Walking into the school, I hear a few cat calling whistles, and glances from girls, whispers, I walk a little faster, uncomfortable at the number of people looking my way. Today happens to not only be my birthday but the start of the last 2 weeks of school. I was supposed to stay in New York until I graduated, but with my first shift coming up, I expected as much when my parents had told me about moving up the moving date.
I enter the school to find it almost over full of teenagers, werewolf teenagers... crunching my nose at all the smells, the scents of perfume, testosterone, and the individual smell each separate person puts off was almost overwhelming. Mom had warned me my scenes would be different since I get my wolf today.
Time to get the day over with..
