Chapter 10: Fight for Willow

488 Words
**Clayton POV** We stood staring at Jax for what seemed like hours, before Mark had a change of heart and slowly made his way over trying to make sure he wasn't going to flip out on him... "What did you do?" I asked through gritted teeth, before I heard Sarah and her family howl out their mournful sorrow, sadness ripping through everyone in the link, Marks holding a hint of guilt. "You killed Jason!? You know what's going to happen to you right?!" I yell, still angry at him for doing that to Sarah... to Willow. My leopard purring at her name before I heard a purr from beside me where Max stood. Great. Competition! As it was, we stayed focused trying to break Jax out of his rabid state, there is only one way, create flows of good memories, if they are too far gone you can see foaming at the mouth even in human form... looking at Jax now... he's almost to that point. "What made you this way?" I hear Max, asking more of his wolf than Jax, himself not in there anymore, it's just his violent wolf now. "This dumb asshole rejected MY mate, he rejected her and I took over, it wasn't his choice. He shouldn't have done that. I wasn't about to let Jason, that piece of s**t take my mate!" His wolf, Carter had spat out, disrespecting Jason as he started foaming at the mouth, little by little. Knowing if we fight him, our cats could die, fight the rabid or become rabid themselves. Me and max were willing to take that risk. Getting ready for a fight, that's when out of nowhere Victor and the rest of the pack showed up. Victors huge wolf towering over Jax has he stood, grinning. Shifting Jax gets ready for a fight before Victor launches himself at Jax, them running toward one another, searching for Willow, I was too late... she ran into the fight... No! **Willow POV** As I stood watching the fight, Myah took over, shifting on the spot. Watching my father fight for me, Jax slamming his wolf on the ground as I took off in between Clayton's legs and jumped into the side of Jax's wolf. Impacting into his ribs, launching him into a tree gaining a help as I helped my father up. Making sure he's okay, my leopard let out a attempt at a roar. Jax, cowering away before getting upright as a lion comes from nowhere, snapping the wolf's neck like a toothpick, my father huffing as the wolves howl the mourning of two lost members. I slowly walk to a the pack house, laying on the porch before Max's lion headed over to me. Gesturing me to follow. What does this mate want? Reject me like the rest? Only one way to find out, getting up I slowly followed him. Preparing myself for yet another heartbreak.
