“Stay close and don’t move.” I whispered to Helene who is standing behind me. she can’t use her power due to lack of energy and the last she had she wasted on trying to confine Alberich and Michael, but still they were stronger and overpowered her.
“you can’t fight them on your own.” Helene said and I looked over my shoulder at her.
“I have a plan. When I say run, you run towards the field and don’t look back. I’ll be right behind you.” I said and she nodded her head.
The first line of rogues stepped through the line of tress with their tees bared and snapping.
They were growling so much that they have spit running down the sides of their mouths.
“run!” I said to Helene and she started running towards the field and I followed behind her.
