Anna POV
Okay so this is not how I imagined my first good deed will go. As I stand here and listen to Damien going on about how he told me I would get into trouble I can’t stop to think about Brody and how his face fell when I told him he has me confused with someone else.
“are you even listening to me?” Damien asked snapping his fingers in front of my face. I snapped my head up to his and his face was red from anger.
“I don’t know what was so wrong if I saved a life.” I said throwing my hands in the air.
“you are a f*****g reaper Anna not a guardian. Saving lives is not your job.” Damien shouted and pushed a book into my hands. “you will not leave this house until you can recite this book from the beginning to the end.” Damien said and walked over to his desk.
