New class new beginnings: Skyler

My first class of the day. My first class of senior year. I let out a long sigh I'd been holding in since Damian and I reached first period. Which we coincidently had together. I don't mind it so much because he is my best friend but I feel like he gets a little clingy some times. He sat in the desk to my right. Damian never sat to my left. He knew better. That was where my other bff April sits. Even though she is always late to class.

April is like a sister to me. After my Luna ceramony when I am to lead my pack she will become my beta as her mother was before her. I know, a beta thats late to everything. She should show more initiative. Actually she was always early to everything. She used to flip if she was ever late. That was until she found her mate Denver. He was a member of Damians pack and once he and she turned of age to find their mate they found eachother. Now shes always late, always with him. I don't mind it much however because shes always been there for me and is the most loyal friend I have.

"Hey Sky you look lost are you okay?" April said standing infront of me with a large smile plastered on her face.

"Huh, yeah I was daydreaminng sorry."

Just as the words left my mouth I felt a wierd aura come into the room. My whole body went stiff and then I saw him. In the middle of the doorway stood the most attractive boy I had ever seen. He had black hair with piercing blue eyes and was wearing blue skinny jeans with a black vneck shirt. And he was staring right at me!

"Dude close your mouth your drooling" april whispered in my ear.

Shit! I closed my mouth and hid my face in my desk feeling the heat on my cheeks from the blush that was darkening. I looked out from the space between my desk and my hands just in time to see him walking past and into the desk behind me. His scent sending chills down my spine as he passed. It was musky like pine and fresh like a field after it rains. I took a deep breath inhaling and exhaling loudly.

"You like it don't you" the mysterious boy wispered into my ear sending another chill down my spine. His voice was deep and I instaintly could not breathe. My heart began to race and my body was getting hot.

Then out of the corner of my eye I noticed Damian staring daggars at the new male. He seemed to have noticed too because what happened next was extremely unexpected. Damian stood up, leaned over my desk and kissed me! Not just a peck but a full on kiss. His lips crashing hard against mine. Then he pulled away, winked with a develish smile, and walked right out the class room door. As this was all happening I was in such a shock I swear I heard him growling too which is sooo off limits at school.

I sat silent for the rest of class not daring to look back or speak a word.

After class april ran up to me wrapping my arm between hers.

"Oh My God! What happened in there!" She shreaked in my ear.

"Uhm I honestly have don't have a clue apes. I was so embarassed I wanted to crawl under my desk..."

"Well obviously SOMEONE likes you!"

I stopped frozen in my place. April still walking stumbled back her arm still linked with mine.

"Dude you almost tripped me!" She wailed then turned to see why I had stopped.

He was there, standing infront of my locker. One foot on the wall with his hands folded across his muscular chest. Yet again staring directly at me.

Just as I was about to flee the scene he started walking towards me. My body was frozen, feet glued to the floor. Unable to run or walk. All I could do was stare. I was a deer in headlights as he slowly aproached.
