We decided we didn't want to keep hearing all that bad news, surely it was important and would be needed later, but the last thing we wanted at that moment was to fill ourselves with worry. With the Caravan out of fuel, we had been forced to "rest" in that town for five days to pay for repairs. If we were going to be stuck there for five days, I would at least try to make the most of it and get the best out of it. And I'm sure that "the best of them" is not a bunch of stuff that would keep me awake at night. Rawvanna took us to the cellar for a while to continue practicing our aim, then she began to talk to us about the shortages of weapons, and I realized that she was too right.
