We were followed by the wave of Wanderers that penetrated the city. As we looked up at the sky, we saw dozens of army helicopters firing missiles at the streets and buildings. The dark sky glittered with the lights from the explosions, while clouds of smoke, dust, and debris rose high into the air. After a few minutes, the Wanderers decided it was a better idea to follow those flashes of light that were sticking out from between the buildings, leaving us to continue on our way. The way to take the highway out of the city was on the other side, to get there we would have to pass through giant hordes of things.
