I thought that when I finished reading, that horrible feeling as if I had suddenly forgotten the national anthem in front of an entire auditorium, would go away. But it didn't. On the contrary, it got worse, as if I had also been naked and the whole thing was being broadcast on international television. I started shaking even more and for a moment I thought I was going to throw up.
Jeff didn't say anything, just closed the book and took a deep breath.
"This is great!" he blurted out excitedly. It had been a long time since I had seen him so excited about something.
"Oh yeah?" I asked confused, it must have been a joke.
"Yeah! I mean, you're missing maybe a little bit of depth, but this is great. It's awesome. You blew it.”
I started laughing, not so much because I was laughing a
