My mind was starting to drift to the matter of the other humans as I began to apply the shampoo to my hair when I heard Terrence yell into the room.
"Congratulations guys, you did great, where is Louis?”
I automatically started hearing everything again, my little place of silence had been thwarted.
"He's taking a bath" Jeff mentioned, hadn't he left too? How long had he been in there? "He's tired...”
"Maybe he even fell asleep in there" Austin laughed and they all followed suit.
I rolled my eyes and vowed to hurry, I couldn't afford long showers in the apocalypse. But then I heard a loud bang and everyone fell silent.
