His Motive

I focused on cleaning up my apartment as Ash watched. I just needed to stay busy. I felt like I was losing my mind. He reached for my laptop and opened it up.

“Hey stay out of there!” I lunged for it and he pulled it out of reach.

“I’m just trying to see what I’m working with. Let me read the first couple chapters. This is why I’m here right?” I know fighting him is futile. So I nod and go back to cleaning. I was breaking out in a nervous sweat. He sat there reading and I can hear him chuckling.

“Is it that bad?” I asked.

“Well it’s obvious you’ve never been with a man before. And these descriptive words. You made breasts sound like boring sacks of fat.” He closes the laptop.

“Breasts are sacks of fat…” I started.

“Not the point. Come sit next to me I want to show you something.” I hesitated then sat on the couch next to him. He puts a hand on my thigh.

“I want you to think about every sensation you feel and write about it.” His hand slides up and I push it away.

“I’m not ready for that I just met you.” He grabs my face then puts his lips against mine. I feel his tongue slide over mine. My chest feels tight and my heart is pounding. I pulled away. He smiles his crooked smile.

“Too much?” He asked. I felt the heat in my face and between my legs. I can’t believe that he has this effect on me. This monster has me wanting more. He runs his fingers down my chest.

“You can calm down I won’t push you. Not yet. When I give it to you it will be after you beg me.”

“You seem so confident.” I said.

“Hmmm. I am. I’ll make you feels things that will change your world.” He sits back and starts to unbutton his shirt. I watch as he takes it off, his body so chiseled. He caught me looking.

“My sweet Vivian.” He said mockingly.

“There was something you wrote in your book. s*x in the rain right? I think we should start there.” I shake my head.

“It’s not even raining.” I’m trying to put this off even longer.

“I can make it rain.” He leaned in like he was going to kiss me but stopped and deep menacing growl came from him. His face changed he looked angry.

“What’s wrong?”

“We are being watched…” He gets up and checks the window. Great another stalker is exactly what I need right now.

“Who would be watching?” He starts pacing the living room.

“I have many enemies in hell it could be one of them.” Great the one demon that i make a deal with apparently doesn't play well with others.

"Stay here." He growled at me and opened up the window and leap out. I couldn't help but to let out a gasp. We were on the second story. It doesn't take him long to drag some guy into my apartment. I sat there watching in fear. Half expecting some horrible monster but instead all I see is a slender pale man. He looked so weak that the wind could just take him away. Ash put his boot on the mans back.

"You know its rude to peep through a ladies window." the man looked up at him shaking in fear.

"My..My lord I apologize." He stammered.

"Sniveling parasite." Ash's eyes glowed red in anger.

"Your father sent me to check on you..."

"Tell him I made a deal with a human and I will be here until I fulfill my end. could take months could take years. just leave me the f**k alone." He let the man go then looked at me.

"All depends on you on how long I get to stay."

"Me? I want you gone as soon as possible." He laughed at my reply.

"Liar." Was all he said. The man on the floor tries crawling away.

"Next time I see you I will kill you."

"Ye-yes My lord." He jumps out the window.

"He called you lord. Why?" I couldn't help but to ask. He smirked at me.

"Because I am a prince. Lucky you." I don't feel lucky. I feel like everything is spiraling out of control. my entire perception of reality has come crashing down around me and he has the audacity to stand there smiling like its no big deal.

"So are you ready to continue our work?" He asked.

"Wait I have one more question... Did you just make a deal with me so you wouldn't have to stay in hell?"

"Sure lets go with that."
