The regret I thought I saw there, vanished. “Why don’t you just superglue me to you, asshole?” I wanted to snap in his face but instead, I let out a light chuckle, thinking he was still carrying on the joke. Sighing, I replied, "Do you think I'll buy that? Your brother married my sister and now you’re threatening to kill my family, really?”
He wouldn’t do that, would he? I mean, he’s joking, right? Plus my sister is his sister-in-law. So he must be joking, right?
"Oh, believe me, I can," he said in a low voice, making me roll my eyes.
I couldn’t believe that no way would he dare to do that. Looking into his blue orbs with my greys ones, however, I saw the honesty in his ruthless words. And fear struck in me at that moment, as I felt myself starting to shake.
