chapter ten

i decided to stay in bed all the next day after that long hours ball. my feet hurt cause of them heels. plus i really just did not want to leave this bed at all.
so im just doing a little bit of thinking and just snuggled so deep into my blanket and pillows.
luis was up and working. i knew cause when i opened my eyes today and turned around he was not in bed. i wish he didnt have to be at that desk every darn dang day...
these thought made me groan. why is he working? he should be in bed with me! i wanted to scream at him...telling him to get his vamp side back in bed...
he suddenly started to laugh.
why did he just laugh?...oh god... please tell me he can't read minds....
luise kept on laughing....i have became really annoyed of this...so i tested this theory on reading minds.
i called him a jerk in my head.
"princess..." he said out loud.. i rolled my eyes. great mother of pearl he can...great.
now i got to watch what i think....
i herd a small knock coming from the door. at that moment i didn't care who it was all i did was hid in covers.
besides i thought. if its just someone for advice or something i would not care.
i sighed into the pillow. lets just say im tired of bowing down to people.
princess indeed i thought...freedom...yes iv got freedom...slave no more heck yes...
luis must of answered the door. he chuckled on my thinking....
"cindy what's wrong? what the hell happened? " luis asked her. he sounded upset and very deadly.. i looked at the door...
i started to hear crying...
cindy... she was crying. i knew i was not going to like this.
i got out off the bed immediately. at least i had cloths on.
luise let cindy in the room. he led her to the couch. she hesitated but sat down.
i looked at cindy and i saw the right side of her face. i gasped. she looked to have been slapped. her face was bruised. i was seeing red. i touched her face gently.
i then looked her over. no other parts where brusid. .
"who " i asked.
"two of the ladies of the court. i was at the wrong place at the wrong time.!" she whispered. tears where really coming down her face.
luis sighed."im sorry".
i wanted to smack theses woman. poor cindy she was maid not a slave...i wouldn't want to beat a slave ethier.
i had an idea. " can she be my maid? like officially a lady maid "
Cindy's face lit up a bit. she wiped her tears away.
"yes... she could... people wont dare hurt the next queens maid." he said giving me a kiss on the head.
i nodded.
cindy smiled "bless u yr grace" she got up and did a small bowd to me. i just nodded.
luise kissed my head.
"u will be a good queen." he mumbled in my ear.i smiled.
the next day Cindy moved to the ladies maid area. she followed me were ever i wanted to go. since now im not a slave.i can walk around the castle grounds. gossip sipped everywhere i went. i met ladies who where around my age. iv even seen the queen a couple of times. we where all ready like mother snd daughter.
cindy and i where walking and a group of girls went bye laughing. the girls cindy started naming quietly were trouble. i nodded.
we walked around some more when i ran into rain. i curtised as did she. she smiled. but it didnt look friendly. i was on my toes.
"so your the one prince luise chose.. or i could say mated to?" she sneered. i just smiled.
"i dont know what he was thinking!" she said out loud. some of the ladies behind her laughed.
"excuse me!" i said as i kept my head held high. laughter just followed as i left. a tear ran down my face. cindy didnt say anything. i returned to the room deep on thought.
k if im going to do this...im going to do this right. a thought came to mind...yep im going to rock this.
as luis and i where having dinner with each other. i asked about the library in this place. i wanted to start studying again.
he just smiled." while don't i pick the books and you read them."
he would be a good teacher if he wasn't going tobe king one-day. i agreed.
the next couple of days i had a schedual planned. read, walk, talk. i hated gossip but that's everywhere u go.
the books luis gave me where getting tuff to understand. i asked for a touter. so he gave me one.
my tutar was named lura. she gave me a test which was simple. it was on the books iv read so far. thank God for luis. he knew the books that where taught in this realm.
she was shocked on my progress with just reading. i showed her all the books Iv been given. i then showed her the other books i started to read. she was impressed. but i told her i didn't understand some books. i showed her. then we started to study. it was hard. but in time i loved it.
i was learning on different subjects. like history, math and magic. I've learned about werewolves, fairies, vampires, witch's, and yes even angels and ghost.
i was shocked on the angels and ghost. that was more earth than here.
but lura said that God has his hand on everything. i was so shocked. i wanted to know more.
she gave me a book of earth and how it talked about God walking with us at one point. i remember the bible.
i had a ot on my mind then and i couldn't wait to learn more.
