----Second Chance---- ***Lanie's POV*** I was free. Thoughts of Blaze plagued my mind while I looked at the pitch black forest. Would he be caught? Would they kill him and try to bring me back? Peering back to the fence, my body froze. He did this for me. He could be killed because of me. The guilt flooded my brain and overloaded all of my senses. Blaze was my childhood friend. I couldn’t just leave him there with a death sentence. Before I knew it, I was running back to the fence. Blaze hadn’t moved from his spot; it was like he was frozen in place. Was he just trying to get caught?! Reaching my hand back through the fencing, the undeniable grip of the broken fencing held my hand, cutting it up as I winced in pain. My bloodied hand was the furthest of my concerns though.
