----Ambush---- ***Elder Redferne’s Point of View*** These wolves never knew what hit them.  Under the guise of the masking spell, our attacks were swift and unforgiving.  The two guards out front were easy pickings as one of the warlocks gagged them with a muting spell and the other conjured up a sword made of fire to slice his head clean off.   “Hold it!  I want that one alive for questioning.”  The fire from the nearby torch lit up my aging features to make it look like my wrinkles were practically melting down my face.  The wolf guard, bound by spiritual chains, lay not moving except for the pure hatred in his eyes. “What are you doing? What do you want?”  The wolf growled, trying to use his strength to break the chains.  It would be no use, of course.  Those pitiful sorry excuses
