It was finally time to let the girls in on everything that had been happening so far. They were not exactly cool with the fact that a lot went by without me letting them in. And they were sure to express their distaste the way I was used to hearing them do.
They would shout and rant and complain and say everything about how discreet I was and then they would calmly ask what had been going on at last. The last was what I always anticipated. The opportunity to finally talk.
They wanted to know what happened, why I had left Rodney's office and never came back to them. Why I had not texted them where I was but had instead switched off my phone when they had tried to call and find out what was going on with me.
Mag was angry and Cas was just concerned in a way that had no hint
