MIA'S POV
I heard my phone ring when I was still soaking in the tub one hour after I got home. Joe had dropped me off first and then he had proceeded to Mag's and lastly, his girl.
They had fun surely after I had gone down from the car, but all I wanted was a cold bath. A good soaking in the tub after the heat of the scorching summer sun had kissed me the moment I had stepped out of the car.
I let the phone ring while I continued with my bath. I knew it could be literally anyone but it just didn't count at that point. When I left the bathroom at last, it was straight to my phone that I went. I picked it up and saw the unfamiliar number on the screen of my phone. I wanted to place the phone back down but it rang right in my hand so I took the call.
