When at last she spoke, it was with calm confidence of one that definitely had everything under control.
"I want to announce something...not like it's something new, but I want to do it all over again and then use this medium to officially tell dad." She started.
My eyes went to Joe again and this time, I saw that he was holding his breath.
He was hoping for the worst to happen, but when he looked around and saw the relaxed grin on Aunt Sharon's face, he started to loosen up and sit more comfortably in his seat.
"Well, I've been meaning to tell dad, but I did not want it to appear casual at all, I'd hate for something so serious to be shared on a casual note, because I'd hate for anyone to trivialize it."
