MIA'S POV I did not want to stay any longer than I had already stayed at Rodney's office, but there was a reluctance that did not entirely make sense. I wanted to leave, yet it was my arm that was on top of his, yet it was my fingers that were running on his palm while he reclined back on his seat and smiled at me. He didn't have to say it again, he loved watching me and it was obvious now that he did. He was still drinking in the pleasure of my look when my phone rang and I let go of his hand and took the call. I had expected that one of the girls was calling now to ask why I had not been back yet from the doctor's office since I had asked them to wait for me while I went to him, but it was not the girls that had called.
