I felt a sudden need to go out and have some time alone. I still wanted to see Rodney, but I didn't want him to know that. Maybe it was okay if I had a bit of time alone sometimes, without friends too, perhaps, it would help my thinking, it would help me be a more emotionally independent adult and that was not a bad idea to me so I did exactly just that.
I wanted to visit the library and grab a few books. Spend time there and not be with the girls or spend hours on a call with Rodney..it was my idea of a Me_time and I wanted to take every single advantage and make it pleasant and worth the time.
When I walked to my favorite shelf holding the crime thrillers that I loved to read, I fished my phone from my bag and took shots of the neatly arranged books.
