Khalid- The Ways
I don't want to admit how at ease Damien makes me feel. The only other person I feel calm around like this is Young. The fact that he can manipulate me into feeling like this is unnerving. I find comfort in the fact that I can question and doubt what I feel. It tells me that these emotions are mine. I question and doubt literally everything. So as long as I can naturally feel that I think we'll be okay.
"Are you ready?" Young asked coming up behind me. Damien is sitting on my table while I make sure I have everything I need for tonight.
"Are you?" I asked.
"Always," he smiled. "I don't know what you did, but I'm glad you feel better. Li, I wanted to apologize for the way I've been acting. I'm a f*****g ass hole,"
"My words exactly," I agreed. H
