CHAPTER TEN

"Arianna, your dad is saying the truth", my mom said.

I rolled my eyes and got up, "this was meant to be a dinner to meet my friends but you turned it into a fairytale story. We aren't kids mom".

"Um...... Arianna, your parents are saying the truth. We are all werewolves" Ethan said.

I looked at him and the rest of the gang to realize they were telling the truth.

"You have got to be kidding me", I yelled in anger as I paced the living room.

"Wait, does that explain my weird dreams, a strong sense of smell and hearing and the voice in my head? Also you guys long meetings at night? ", I asked as I looked at my parents who looked down in shame.

"Unbelievable. So you mean to tell me I'm a werewolf and all you did was lie to my face every day for almost 15 years???" I yelled at my parents. I noticed everyone was calming listening to my words.

"Sweetie, we were just trying to protect_", my mom was saying before I interrupted her.

"Enough mom. Enough of the 'I was trying to protect you' bullshit", I spat.

I saw my father's emotions flickering between anger, pain, hurt and fear.

"Okay, the show is over. Can you all leave my house this instance", my dad angrily spoke to the 'REDMOON CLAN' 

"Aaron, please forgive me. I _" Demitrey's father began.

"LEAVE Damien, we don't have anything to do with you anymore", my dad said I noticed Ethan and the rest look at Demitrey strangely. 

"Actually, you do," Demitrey said calming to my dad.

My parents, his parents and I looked at him quizzingly. 'How", his mother asked

"Arianna is my mate"

Everyone was silent for a while till both of our dads yelled, "WHAT?", though my dad's yelling was in anger and Demitrey's was in joy.

"It's true Alpha. I realized when I first met her" Demitrey said, looking at me.

I was shocked beyond words.

"Wait," I began as I stood up, "so this is the reason you guys wanted to be friends with me"

They all looked guilty and I felt my heart crumble even more.

I let out a bitter laugh, "You know what, this dinner is over. Y'all can leave now" I said as I angrily began to go to my room.

I heard them yelling my name but I didn't stop till I got to my room where I finally broke down.
