The motorway was busy and Judas was impatient. “Do you have a portable blue flashing light that I can stick on my crash helmet?” replied Black Maria. “Of course I don’t just happen to have a flashing blue light in my pocket,” said Judas. “Well, sit down and shut up and let me ride my motorbike in peace! The only way I could go any faster would be for the rest of the traffic to pull over, and the only way they’d do that is for me to have a blue light and a siren – okay?” said Black Maria. “What about the hard shoulder?
