Chapter 13 The cold eventually chased us from the bed. “Sorry,” Colten said as we hurriedly dressed. “The hills don’t give me a lot of sunshine, and I don’t waste the electricity on heat when I’m not here.” “Don’t worry about it. My damned Arizona blood ruined me. Plus, I was starting to get hungry. Is there something here I can cook for you?” Colten looked at me in surprise and I realized I’d invited myself over for dinner.
