Our Story: Annoyingly Cute

I can feel the eyes of the people looking at me while I am waiting for my turn in the cashier. That guy! I will just fix this book so I can still read it. He succeeded ruining my little treat.

I was about to go to the exit door when I saw him standing outside the bookstore checking his phone. Is he with someone?

I walk faster with my head down so he can't see me. I still feel embarassed on what had happen earlier.

I stopped. Did I heard it right? My heart skip a beat with that thought. I look up to him who is now walking towards me. Did he just call my name? I stare at him.

"Hi, did you got it?"

"What?" I blink.

"The book." He said while pointing his lips on the paper bag that I am holding.

"I paid for it so of course I got it." I replied pointing the word "paid".

"You know, I am really a fan of the writer. I will pay you just please give me the book."

"You know, I sacrificed my sleep and time just to get this book. I won't give it you. I'm sorry." I mimic his reaction. Awwe he is so cute.

I walk away when I saw that he has nothing more to say. Then I heard my name once again.

"I am willing to double the price."with his shy smile.

"Do you really like it? I asked

"Badly." He said

"Then, why did you asked me to pay for it in the first place?" I saw how his reaction changed.

"Never mind. You can have the book." I got curious.

"I will give it to you if your reason is valid."

He was hesistant at first but then,

"Are you going home now?" He asked.

"Not yet, I was about to go a tea shop when you blocked my way."

"I'll go with you then."

"Sorry?!"

"You wanna know the reason why I wanted the book right? Then I'll tell you there."

Am I dreaming? Is it really happening?! Shin is with me. If this is just a dream, please don't wake me up yet.
