Our Story: Enchanted

Andie's POV

Finally! I'm done!

I was able to finish everything on time. I can finally sleep well and enjoy the weekends. I decided to go to the mall later this day for a well-deserved relaxation and treat. Haha!

I save everything and compile my works on my table. I took a shower and choose a white crop top and a black shorts. I will take a nap first to regain my energy.

I didn't notice the time, it's already 4:30 PM when I woke up. I washed my face then brush my teeth and choose my black hoodie and pair it with black sweat pants to wear. After an hour, I am now inside the bookstore of the mall. The smell of the book is kinda refreshing. Hmmm. I've been waiting for this day!

I was about to pull out one of my favorite book series when someone grab it from me.

Shin! Oh my goodness. Wait?! Is it for real?!

"Sorry Miss, I got it first." He said while pulling it out from my hands.

I recovered from a shock hearing his voice.

"No, I got it first. You can have the next copy if you want." I replied.

"Sorry, this is the last copy that they have and I came all the way from my place to get it."

"Sorry too, but I waited for this day to have it as well. I finished all my school works today so I can treat myself with this."

We stare to each other intently. I will not let this pass. I sacrifice my time and sleepless nights for this little treat.

Crrrk.

We both look at the torn book. I was shock seeing half of the book in my hand while the other half is on him. Some people who passed our aisle saw what happened and I felt embarass.

"You can have it! Just pay for it in the cashier." I gave him the part that I'm holding and was about to leave when he pulled my hoodie and gave back the poor book which is now in two parts.

"No, you pay for it since you were the one trying to snatch it from me."

What?!
