"Do you know that I hate you so much?" Sol mumbled in her ears, causing her to flinch in his embrace however, he didn't tighten his grip on her more.
Her heart ached more but she couldn't do anything about it. Though he said he abhorred her, deep down he loved her so much.
Silence had long sandwiched in between them. As Riell pondered whether to bring up her reason for arrival, she heard him say, "...but say, Riell, what is it that I still love you? I wanted to hate you, hurt you so you can turn back to me however, I couldn't bear to hurt you."
While Sol spoke, he didn't forget to tighten his grip on her. With her back facing him, she couldn't see his expression but his tone expressed the hidden pain.
All his words hit a spot in her heart and she couldn't help but tremble a little.
