A young-looking woman entered a certain VIP ward. In her arms, she held a chubby healthy infant. Once inside the ward, she found the female sitting upright and her eyes widened in shock.
Carla who had no clue of someone's presence was shocked as well to see the female who was her mother-in-law.
"Carla, my dear, you're finally awake," she said, tears automatically streaming down her cheeks.
Her sudden tears surprised Carla for she had never seen her cry before. The infant in the woman's arms also burst into tears. Carla who hadn't seen her son for months became emotional as she stretched out her hands signalling the woman to give the baby to her.
