The birthday party went on successfully however, the person who felt awkward was Carla. The reason was that she didn't know how to conduct herself around Ezekiel. She had hurt him immensely but he was still as gentle as always. It was as though he wasn't bothered or hurt before.
This cool side of him greatly affected her thoughts. For a moment she thought, will their relationship go back to they were before? Or would they remain strangers? She really felt bad, she seemed to be the bad guy in the movie but what could she do?
On top of that, she still remembered her mother-in-law's warning. She told her to keep her distance away from Ezekiel. Sighing deeply, she decided to shove that idea aside and marched forward to take Liya from Ezekiel.
