EMILY “I'm asking you something, Emily,” Liam mumbled as he leaned closer to me. I could feel my heartbeat race as the seconds ticked by. Why was he talking to me like this? I haven't done anything to warrant his tone this morning. Liam slammed his hand against the wall once more, causing me to flinch. “When I ask you something, I expect a straight answer.
