Ezmay pov

I watched as Izzy passed out unable to break the spell. Anna screamed as she watched her hit the floor. I looked at George knowing how a wolf reacts when their mate is in trouble. I could see his eyes flashing yellow his wolf was about to take over. Sam! I yelled! He knew why as soon as I said his name. He turned just as Georges wolf ripped out of him landing over top of his mate snarling and snapping his jaw ready to attack. Anna snapped out of her hysteria hearing George snarling and realised what was going on. She looked at me for help but I couldn't do anything in this situation. A bite from a wolf could kill me and I wasn't going to risk that. Anna I'm pregnant I can't help but I can tell you izzy is only unconscious. she will be fine but you need to calm George's wolf so I can check on her. Anna nodded and looked at Jax, his hackles were up and his teeth were bared ready to attack. JAX. IT'S ME ANNA. YOU NEED TO LET GEORGE BACK IN CONTROL. IZZY IS GOING TO BE OK BUT EZMAY NEEDS TO CHECK ON HER. She said in a soft voice trying to convince him. He growled low and primal at her not recognizing her. JAX REMEMBER YOU PROMISE IZZY YOU WOULDN'T HURT ME. She said stepping closer and his ears perked up but he was still on alert. JAX PLEASE! She bagged stepping closer and putting her hand out. His eyes started to flicker and his hackles went down. She reached him and put her hand threw his fur and he stepped away from izzy and started to shift back. Everyone in the room took a breath and I went to Izzy first to check her over as she came to. Welcome back child you missed all the excitement. I said looking at her head where she hit it on the floor. DID IT WORK? IS THE SPELL BROKEN? She asked, disoriented. No child I'm sorry it didn't your powers weren't strong enough. She looked at Lila who was just coming to herself. IM SORRY LILA IT DIDN'T WORK I'M NOT STRONG ENOUGH. she said, sounding defeated. IT'S OK IZZY I'M JUST GLAD YOUR OK. Lila said always thinking of others before herself. I WILL FIND A WAY I PROMISE. Izzy said to Lila looking determined. Like hell you will, George said from the corner of the room. Izzy rolled her eyes looking at him. WHY ARE YOU NAKED! She yelled confused. We all burst out laughing as a blush creeper across George's face. UM JAX MAY HAVE OVERREACTED. He said shyly. She nodded in understanding. Then Anna looked at me and I knew what was coming. WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL US? she asked me. TELL US WHAT? Lila asked. I'm pregnant, I said. And izzy gasped, realising the price I paid for her. No, I said to her. It wasn't like that. She shook her head, tears coming to her eyes. Izzy I said, wiping them away. I wanted to be pregnant. He was just a pone. I got you and a baby out of this deal. I couldn't be happier. SO HE DIDN'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU? she asked. No sweet child he didn't. BABY SHOPPING!! Anna squealed and everyone laughed again. Well everyone it's been an eventful day. I need to sleep before nightfall comes again. I said getting up off the floor helping Izzy up. I left and went to my room in the basement. I was so happy that Sam had put a uv protective tint on all the windows. it meant I could walk around in the daytime without being burnt like a marshmallow in a fire. When I got to my room I realised Max had called. I figured I should call him back before he had a conniption. I needed to ask if he had a book I needed on black witches and mates anyway. SORRY LOVE IT'S BEEN A FEW DAYS AND I HADN'T HEARD FROM YOU SO I WAS CONCERNED. He said. Everything's fine max I have my first ultrasound in 2 weeks tho if you would like to come I asked. When I was there last you had a whole section on black witches. Do you have the book of the black mate? He thought for a minute and asked if he could call me back and I agreed. We hung up and I decided on a rare steak and glass of bloody tomato juice. Humans think we can't eat food but we can as long as it has blood in it. When I was finished I decided to have a shower before bed. I turned the shower head on but as I was about to get undressed max called. I shut off the shower and answered the phone. Hello, I said. HEY BABY I DO HAVE THE BOOK YOU'RE LOOKING FOR. I WILL HAVE ONE OF MY STAFF BRING IT TO YOU TODAY SO U HAVE IT WHEN YOU WAKE. He said. Thank you I will see soon, I said, hanging up the phone. I had my shower, got in my pjs and dozed off.

Lola pov

I almost have it. I need to make sure she can't taste or smell the wolfsbane before she eats it. I had picked up a rogue shifter and smuggled him into the pack so I could test it on him. We ate lunch together and we chatted. He thanked me for letting him crash here and making him food. It kinda sucked he was actually nice I kinda felt bad about having to kill him. Then I remembered why I was doing this and the guilt left my body. Sam had to be mine at all costs. I pulled out the cupcake and handed it to him and he took it. I held the knife in my hand a little tighter, nervous that he could smell it. WHAT'S THIS FOR? he asked. Oh I made it for you. You can't have dinner without dessert. I said, giving him a seductive smile. He smirked back at me and took a bite. Within seconds he was clearing his throat. Oh my are you cooking do u need water I said trying to play it cool. WATER! WATER! He struggled with a raspy voice. I handed him the glass and he tried to drink it. Choking on it he stood up holding his throat looking at me with fear in his eyes. I smirked at him. Awe didn't mommy ever tell you not to take food from strangers. He fell to his knees as blood started to fall from his nose and eyes. I squatted down to his level as he fell forward. After a minute or so I checked his pulse. Not finding one I was happy with my results. That's it, I got it! I said to myself. Now what to do with you? I said pushing on the dead man's shoulder.

Lila pov

2 weeks later

I get to see my sisters today! Sam figured out a way to get ahold of Sophie and we are meeting up! I'm so excited I miss them so much! We are waiting at a little restaurant that Sophie used to talk about a lot when we lived together. We waited for about 10 minutes when I saw them walk in. I was so excited I squealed, getting up and running to them. I slid down to my knees grabbing Ava in a bear hug kissing her everywhere. Tears running down my face. I felt Sophie fall to her knees and hug us. By now I was ugly crying. I had missed them so much I couldn't stop. We just sat there in the middle of the floor of this small restaurant crying. After about 10 minutes Sophie started to chuckle. Then I started and by the time little Ava started sophie and i were laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee. realising how embarrassing all this is and how crazy we look we got up and made our way to the table. Sophie, Ava this is Sam my boyfriend I said hoping that was the right term to use. Sam shook Sophie's hand. YOUR SAMUEL TIGAROUSE! She squealed. That's me, he said. YOUR DATING SAMUEL TIGAROUSE! HOLY s**t! She said, and I scolded her for swearing. We talked about everything that's been happening and how school was going for them. Sophie told me Markus left and took the money with him. She also said mom and Eliot were always gone and it left Sophie taking care of ava. It was hard to hear that they were struggling while I was enjoying life. I looked at Sam and he knew what I was going to say. He nodded his head and I asked. Sophie, if I could take you away from it all would you go? You would have to give up a lot though. You would live with us full time, you wouldn't be able to go to school or see your friends for a while, and you would never be able to see Lane, Markus, or Elliot again. YES! She looked at me excitedly and said absolutely! Perfect, I will give you 2 weeks to get everything together and then we will come get you. She agreed and then my alarm went off saying they had to go to be safe. I hugged and kissed them one last time and they left and I cried. Sam and I waited a half an hour before we left to head home. Which was a good idea because I needed that time to put myself back together. When we got home ezmay was waiting for us. I HAVE NEWS! She said excitedly. ABOUT THE BABY? Sam questioned. NO I MEAN YES BUT THATS NOT WHAT NEWS IM TALKING ABOUT! UGH! WE WILL GET TO THAT BUT FIRST IZZY AND I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU GUYS! She said so excited. We followed her up the stairs to izzys room. When we entered we saw Izzy, Anna, and George were sitting on the floor. WE FOUND OUT HOW TO STRENGTHEN IZZY'S POWERS. Ezmay said, guiding us to the triad. BY USING THE MATE BOND WE CAN STRENGTHEN IZZY'S POWERS BY BORROWING MAGIC FROM HER MATES. WE CAN TRY THE INCANTATION AGAIN. ezmay said convinced that it would work. Are you guys sure you want to try this again? I asked, concerned about my friends. WE ARE SURE LILA. Izzy said. Ok. Let's try, I said excited and scared about my future. Izzy had me lay on the bed and she sat down beside me followed by George and Anna. As George and Anna got into position. One of them on each side, a hand on her leg and on top of her hands on my shoulders. She looked me in the eyes and asked if I was ready and I said yes and she began. She chanted the incantation over and over like last time and I blacked out just like before. However this time was different. I woke up in the forest I had visited before. The place I had seen my mother. I walked forward till I found her again. She was just as beautiful as before. Hello mother I said in a gentle voice afraid she was going to disappear. HELLO MOON, she replied, her voice so calming. Why have you brought me here again? I asked. I HAVE SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO MEET YOU. She said and I looked at her confused. But then I saw her. The most beautiful Siberian tiger with eyes just like mine. Hello I said and she started to run at me. I wasn't scared of her, I knew she wouldn't hurt me. She pounced as she got close to me and knocked me down. She then proceeded to rub herself all over me purring like a house cat. She licked my face and I giggled. OK.OK. VIOLET IT'S TIME TO GO BUT YOU WILL BE ONE SOON. She said and then they were gone and I was in the dark.
