Nicole’s P.O. V
“Hey Nicole, did you really email Samantha?” Lintel asked.
“Oh God, how many times did I already hear that same question, Lintel?” I asked with an obviously annoyed tone as we continued walking up to the rooftop to light up.
I am with the 'friends' who only stick with me because of my popularity and beauty. God, I even made them my lackeys for the first day, yet they have stayed till now.
“I am excited to see Samantha, though,” Lily said, licking her lollipop.
I just nodded and was about to answer her when we heard the slamming of the door coming from the rooftop and saw a familiar boy running down fast.
“Holy sh!t! That brat almost bumps at me” Thomas frustratingly exclaimed.
That boy really looks familiar, with his lame jacket and height, even the presence of his is the same as the bastard Kale. As Thomas continue to rant, we heard another slamming of the door and saw Liham Jones running after that boy.
I need to block him. Why is he after that weirdo?
As soon as he steps onto the stairs where we are, I blocked him and cutely stared at him. I believe that I deserve his attention and not to a trash like that guy.
“Move!” he said without breaking his sight to the guy he was running after.
I raised an eyebrow and clung to him.
“What are you doing here, Liham? Shouldn’t you be at the auditorium for your training?” I ask seductively, because no one can ever resist the seductiveness I release. Even Thomas is staring at me stickily.
“I said, move!” He said and finally looked me in the eyes. Yet his eyes were furious.
“Can’t you remember me, Liham?” I asked as I pouted, acting cute.
No one can resist me and my cuteness.
He just glared at me, which made me surprised as I slowly removed my hands from clinging.
What’s his deal?
“Is that kale you’re chasing?” I asked as he was about to leave.
“Why’d you ask?” he answered with his eyes, roaring like a lion, threatening me not to touch his prey.
My blood boiled as soon as I confirmed. That familiar boy who ran earlier is really kale.
What’s their relationship? Why is Liham chasing after that psychopath? All he brings into my life is a disaster!
“At least remember the one who you make out, Liham” I said as I stopped him again.
He sighed and faced me blankly.
The hell!
“I’m sorry, maybe you were not that good. That’s why I forgot you” He said with a smirk and left me dumbfounded.
What the actual Fvck is happening?
He vanished from my sight in an instant and I felt the quiet atmosphere as their eyes tried to gossip.
“What are you looking at?” I screamed and ran to the rooftop and slammed the door really hard.
“Just so you watch kale. I will not let you surpass me by using Liham.”
Thomas’s P.O. V
“What’s with this cute acting and clinging to him as if you’re willing to jump at him anytime, Nicole” I murmured as I watched Nicole going berserk running up from the rooftop as Lily and Lintel laughed.
“Did you see Nicole’s face? She looks so pathetic” Lintel laughed and smacked me from the back as she continues her pig manners
“Hey, aren’t you friends with Nicole? Why are you laughing at her back?” I ask them annoyingly and followed Nicole on the rooftop.
“s**t” She cursed, lighting up her cigar, as I handed her the lighter.
“No one dares to say those awful things to me, why is that Liham so cold?” She rants and blows smoke in the air as she stares at the scenery in front of us.
“That bastard” She exclaimed again and punched in the air as if she was regretting acting cute and seductive earlier.
I just sighed.
“If it were me, I would kneel” I whispered to myself.
“Right?” She agrees, which surprised me.
She heard.
“No need to hide, Thomas, my boy! I know you have a crush on me” She said and chuckles as she leans her head on her hands, resting on the rooftop fence.
I was intoxicated by the aesthetic beauty she marked on me. Her beauty was too much for me to deserve it, but I am being greedy.
“Hey, why so quiet?” She asked, snapping me out of my wilderness.
“Nicole-“
“Wait, if you are about to confess your love, I am sorry, you don’t deserve me, Thomas.” She said and put her cigar unto my mouth and stand
“You are a great friend Thomas, and that’s what you are to me. Don’t ruin our friendship just because I look pretty in your eyes.” She said and walks out.
I sighed deeply and stared at the cigar.
I know you are crazily head over heel of Liham, I know that.
But you are so selfish, you did not even hear what I have to say.
“You are so unfair, Nicole.”
“You are damn unfair” I shouted.
“I heard you, dummy!” She shouted back, smiling at me as I turned my head in her direction.
“Hey let me finish, what I was about to say is that you looked really pathetic there earlier” I said and laughed it off as she went berserk and beat me.
This is enough for now.
“What did you say, jerk?” She asks angrily.
“ Stop it, love birds” Lily said, and sat on the abandoned Sofa.
Although I reckon Liham Jones was so desperate for that hoodie guy.
