I woke up the next day without Alex by my side. My hand fumble for a few second to the cool spot next to me to find it was empty. As empty as my heart would be, my mouth tilted a little bit. I don’t think I deserve this loneliness after telling him about my dark side last night.
Frustration hit me when I realized it was probably my fault to easily trust a complete stranger.
“You are awake?” Alex’s voice startled me. I quickly sat straight as soon as I heard him coming out from my en-suite bathroom.
Unfortunately he is shirtless.

Apparently the view in front of me making me unable to stay focused. It was too distracted that I shook my head slightly. Hopefully, he didn’t notice. But as always, I was wrong.
