"You will make a great king, don't worry I trained you properly," My father said, The messenger sent from only Lucifer knows where was waiting patiently for my father. My father hugged me, and yes that was probably the first time for as long as I remember, he moved on to hug Camari as well. Mum kissed my forehead and then Camari's before they went to stand in front of the messenger.
"Are you ready?" the messenger asked
"Yes, we are," the messenger prepared a portal and my father looked back at me before stepping into the portal and disappeared, my mother did the same thing and the messenger stepped into the portal disappeared with him. Camari laid her head on my shoulder and I leaned my head on hers.
"Is that it?" she asked with a very sad tone.
"I'm afraid so," I replied in merely a whisper.
"I miss them already," I missed them already too but I was the king of hell and I couldn't let such things get to me and I knew where they were going.
"It's alright Camari," I patted her head and she took that as a sign to move away "This kingship thing is going to be very hard without someone to guide me,"
"You will do just fine, dad also ruled without his father watching over, and look how orderly hell is," She said and I looked at her.
"I know I'm going to f**k up,"
"Why don't you get a royal advisor first before jumping to conclusions, hmm" Camari and I started walking in the direction of the castle.
"Great, you'll do just fine,"
"No, no, no, that can't happen!" she replied sharply which surprised me, I lifted my eyebrow at her questioning her.
"What do you mean no?"
"When I say no, I actually mean no Xavier, I can't be an advisor,"
"You think you don't make the cut, you're smart"
"Oh, I know I'll make a great advisor, the thing is I'm kind of supposed to be dead being an extra child in the royal family and that can cause a lot of controversies don't you think? An illegitimate citizen of hell as the advisor of the king"
"It'll be low key, I swear,"
"Xavier," she shook her head violently "it can't work, find someone else, maybe Antonia she's really got knowledge about these things,"
"Very well Camari, I'll find another person, but you will still be giving me advice, right?"
"Yes, of course, you are my brother," she replied and smiled
"Okay then, I will leave you alone now," I said
"Bye,"
"Yeah, bye-bye," I walked ahead of her into the castle, I climbed up the stairs and went through the right-wing, I was going to see Winter.
When I walked into the room, she was as pale as a sheet and it was as though he lips had lost more blood if that was even possible, I picked her very much limp hand and while staring at her face place a soft kiss at the back of her palm. I pulled my lips away and when I looked at her hand I got quite a shock her pinky finger was already starting to freeze, it gave a little spasm.
"Baby you have to hang in with me for a while, I'll wake you up I'm king now, okay, so just hang in there," I kissed the back of her palm again then walked out the room closing the door quietly behind me.
I went through the portal back to earth.
"Your highness," Gillian said and I nodded towards her before walking through the front door to my car, I got in my car and drove to the cemetery in which Chloe was buried, everything happened because of the death of this girl. What do you do when you lose something? You retrace your steps to try to find it and that was exactly what I was going to try to do.
I knew where she was buried because I actually attended her burial but in the shadows. I went to where her gravestone was located and ran my index finger over it.
Chloe Williams.
2001- 2019
May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Perfect Peace.
I pulled up the heave slab of concrete that was used to cover her grave and looked down at her mahogany coffin, I jumped into the grave and started pulling the nails on her coffin much to my utmost discomfort. I finally managed to get all the nails off then I pulled open the lid of the coffin.
She wasn't decayed even after four years, which because I made it that way. I actually had the intention of waking her up again but then everyone got to know about the death which would have made things very complicated if I actually woke her up then. But now nobody remembers her.
I lifted her up from her casket and her hair fell backward revealing the stitches the morticians made on her neck where I slit. I managed to get out of the grave, which was a very hard task considering the grave was six feet deep and I was just three inches over six feet. I closed up the grave again after dropping Chloe on the ground, then I picked her up again and went to the car.
I got back home with Chloe in my arms, I took her to the special room for rituals and very important spells. I laid Chloe on the floor and put candles around her, twelve to be exact then took a vial of her blood that I kept years ago, I poured a little quantity in front of every candle then rubbed a special oil on her body, it was to draw spirits closer. I sat in front of her and closed my eyes trying to relax and focus. I recited the first part of the spell and white lights started flashing in front of my eyes meaning a portal to the spiritual realm had been opened then I felt myself start to float.
"Increninius Arachorus," I started repeating "Qui vocat spiritus Chloe William," (I summon the spirit of Chloe Williams) A cool breeze hit my face, which meant her spirit was already inside the room. "Offero dierum" (I offer you long life). The spirit came closer and I heard the windows start to shake violently as if the other souls were telling her not to go but then the window closed with a loud bang and I lowered to the ground. I opened my eyes and I looked at Chloe through the dim light of the candles she was already breathing and the signs of her ever dying were fading away. At least one thing was made right.
